Community Service
Community service is an integral part of a well-rounded education at The Palmas Academy. Students participate in various service projects annually, benefiting both the school and the community. These projects help students develop leadership skills and a global mindset. Service opportunities are announced, and students often develop and create their own projects.
If students wish to complete their service hours at a center not listed by the school, they must get approval from the Program Coordinator or the Secondary School Principal in advance.

Guidelines
EnrollRegistration
- Registration must be done through the school webpage.
- Students will be accepted upon payment receipt.
- Starting date on August 25th, 2025.
- Open to students not enrolled at The Palmas Academy.
Attendance
- Classes need to be taken consecutively, with no exceptions.
- Official communication will be issued if any class is canceled and will be rescheduled to ensure the amount of classes.
- No make up classes for late enrollment.
- Pick-up is at designated time. No aftercare available after classes finish.
Conduct
- Participants must comply with the General Standards of Conduct in the Student Handbook.
- Each program requires a specific dress code that students must adhere to.
Refunds & Credits
No refunds after the 2nd class.
Important Dates
- Starting date on August 25, 2025.
- If necessary, make-up classes due to holidays will be scheduled by the teacher/coach.

Little Picasso: Drawing and Painting for Young Artists

Karate Foundations: Building Skills and Character

This class is designed especially for our youngest learners to explore the joy of movement while building important developmental skills. Through a variety of age-appropriate games and activities, PK and Kindergarten students will practice coordination, balance, teamwork, and following directions in a fun and engaging way.
From classic playground favorites to new creative games, children will develop gross motor skills, social interaction, and confidence—all while playing and having fun with friends.
